This is my first written astrology forecast, so I would like you to stay open :)
Looking at the current situation, I feel now is the right time to offer some important insights on 2020 from an astrological perspective.
As you can already feel, the year 2020 will reveal significant astrological cycles responsible for powerful social, economic and political forces and these energies will serve as the main drivers for events in the second half of the year.
In this article we will analyse the possible outcomes of the three main astrological events of 2020:
- Three Conjunctions of Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn in 2020;
- The Saturn and Jupiter Conjunction on 21st December 2020.
- Saturn entering and moving through Aquarius in 2020–2023;
The year 2020 can roughly be divided into two very distinctive periods. The first half of the year is the period from January to June. That’s when the three most important planets: Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn will go together through Capricorn. It will be the preparation stage where humans are given the chance TO CHANGE, to rebuild the political and the economic structures according to the new rules. The second half of the year from June onwards will be even more challenging for those that are not open to change as the warlike planet Mars will come closer to Earth in the sign of Aries, where it is in its most powerful position.
1. What can we expect as this conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto unfolds across 2020?
The planet Jupiter travels in 12-year cycles — meaning it spends about a year in each zodiac and it completes the full cycle in 12 years. To better understand the influence of Jupiter in Capricorn, we can always assess what happened last time Jupiter was in Capricorn 12 years ago. Let’s look back and see what happened in the world in 2008. Of course, you will immediately think of the financial crisis and the collapse of multiple big banks, the mortgage crisis. How has the financial sector changed since then? How our lives have been affected by these broader changes?
So, here we are again at the beginning of a 12-year cycle. Where Jupiter is back in Capricorn, making a conjunction to Pluto three times in 2020. It’s essential to note that this is happening 3 TIMES. It means that there is a process underway, which starts with the first conjunction at the end of March and completes with the third conjunction in mid-November. More precisely, Jupiter will get to the first conjunction on March 28th and stay there until April 7th. So that’s about ten days, and that’s when the energy will reach its peak. The second time it will happen from June 23rd to July 9th. This time it’s a more in-depth review process of what needs to be fixed and reconstructed as well as which sources are required to support the transformation that’s underway. Finally, we have the third conjunction on November 8–12th. This time it will be the completion of the conjunct energies.
So, starting from the end of March and going up to the middle of November, many areas of our life will be undergoing a massive transformation. We are talking about the crucial shifts on both global and individual levels: in governmental structures, global systems, business models, leadership roles, as well as of the changes in our values, our priorities and in our lifestyle. This time, the global crisis will help us to understand what is truly essential in the world. The most immediate and obvious example is what is currently unfolding with the coronavirus and how it is affecting the countries worldwide, how it’s affecting schools, governments and leadership, how it’s affecting different social structures that we have in place. It’s showing us what is essential, what works, and what does not work anymore.
There is a destructive Pluto energy present along with Jupiter energy, which brings new opportunities. When Jupiter comes into conjunction with another planet, it augments the effect of that planet. So, in this case, Jupiter expands the energy of Pluto. However, this conjunction is happening in Capricorn, which is not about expansion at all, but rather about things being tighter, the shutdowns, the conservative actions.
If you look closer, you can see this energy present already. It hints: let’s be overly safe instead of being too ambitious or excessively idealistic. Realistic and practical — that is the best strategy right now and the best way to handle what is happening in a highly responsible way.
2. What will the Saturn and Jupiter Conjunction reveal to us on 21st December 2020?
It is important to emphasise, that the astrology of 2020 represents a VERY UNIQUE astrological period — the humankind hasn’t experienced this intensity of transformation for thousands of years.
The main astrological event of 2020 (and of all our lifetime) will be the first conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter in the sign of Aquarius on 21st December. This is when the renowned Age of Aquarius will finally begin. In astrological terms, an Age is a huge period lasting for 2,160 years and is determined by the transition of the earth’s axis from one zodiac sign to another. The era of Pisces is coming to its end, and its values such as money, power and control are being replaced. They do not resonate with the values of the new great cycle, the Age of Aquarius. Those values are love, brotherhood, unity and integrity.
More info on the era of Pisces and on the upcoming era of Aquarius you can find here.
The past twenty years have been full of uncertainty and they have also served as the preparation for the transition to the new age of Aquarius. The year 2020 is a defining year for humanity. It is a year that represents the summing up of the past and the establishment of a new order.
The new era will bring us the energy of expansion and liberation.
In December during this transition, something will come up to support us in a new way.
There are a few key areas of transformations which are governed by Aquarius:
- New self-identity. The expansion will affect our social life in a more powerful way than we see it now. It’s taking us out of ‘tribal identification’, it detaches us from those areas of ourselves that we were too attached to. We have been overidentified with the tribe, with the nation, with the family, with the occupation. We are moving towards higher frequencies where the identification as such is no longer needed. For example, the galactic entities — they don’t have best friends, they don’t have a family. The soul, the essence, doesn’t need a tribe. This feels like a tribal check-in point. We will become more careful with our social interactions, which in turn will help us to focus all energy within ourselves. The growth, the expansion will come from within.
- Discoveries Towards the end of 2020. We will be seeing the breakthroughs in science, medicine, AI, IT, space industry. New technologies will soon be firmly integrated into our lives. Digital technology will flourish and the world will become even more virtual. There may be significant discoveries in medicine including a new cure for cancer. Likewise, important discoveries will be made in IT and the space industry.
- Cryptocurrencies have a promising future. These will be adopted by many countries and over time come to replace our existing money, similar to when plastic bank cards replaced cash.
3. What does the Saturn moving from the sign of Capricorn to Aquarius on December 17th 2020 mean?
The global irreversible change is underway. Capricorn’s ruler Saturn governs over space and time. In Astrology, he represents limits and lessons. As the planet of karma, Saturn says that if you put in the work, you will be rewarded, and that’s what Capricorn is all about. The power will be shifted from the top to the bottom, from the privileged minority to the undervalued majority. The concept of ‘shared economy’ and decentralisation will come into place. All systems will be tested (Financial, Governmental, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Travel, Education, Theatres, Shopping Malls). The Saturn in Aquarius (2020–2023) brings in new solutions, new inventions and new rules.
On an individual level, these energies will require us to become clear with our purpose in life. Capricorn characterises how we show up, our professional image in the world. It highlights areas of our life where we need to take responsibility. Throughout 2020 Saturn in Capricorn will give us more challenges where we have to be mature, committed, and responsible. It assesses and recognises what we have achieved so far and what has to be done for the advancement of humanity. How are we going to spend our lives on this planet? Saturn gives us the opportunity to see a higher picture of our reality from a new critical perspective. This is all taking place in the first half of the year. Something will come together that will bring a holistic understanding.
This volatile time is testing our limits. It is a desirable welcomed change on a soul level.
Therefore, we have to get ready to embrace this energy.
Now is the best time for self-reflection, for reevaluation. Ask yourself:
What is really important for you right now?
What do you enjoy doing in your life?
Which habits do not serve you anymore?
Where is the opportunity for you to expand?
It is a perfect time for many to realise their dreams and create clear plans on how to make it a reality.
Given all the above, it is only natural that this should be a turbulent time. Old economic and political systems will continue to break down. New countries will rise to a position of dominance taking the place of others. This process is already underway and the next months of 2020 will reveal it to us f.
The energies of 2020 are set to define the development of events for many years to come. We are going to move through this with hope for an amazing outcome, with hope and faith that something good will happen!
Thank you for your attention!
Peace and Love,
